Haiku Friday - At In The Swing

Free day at play space

so many kids and their moms

I am exhausted

 

Ironflower smiles

Lovebug cannot stop grinning

ball pit so much fun

 

Most other kids nice

Except for that one kicker

You handled it so well

 

I am so so proud

you two are great in public

should we go out more?

    great haikus! careful of the ball pits, though. germs!!! yucky gross disgusting germs…and kids love to suck on those stinking balls!!!

    Sounds like a fun day. I can totally relate. I often feel like Julia uses up all her “good” when we’re out. Because she often comes home and can’t behave!

    sounds fun! i don’t get to do that ball-pit thing anymore. 13-year-olds tend to frown on that kind of thing ;-)

    I’m with Melissa. Those ball pits freak me out with the germs. You never know how often they get cleaned. And, you totally should get out. Join a mom group. Hang. It’s great for all of you.

    I’m usually a germ freak too, but I say, let the kids have their fun. You are only young once. When I think of all the dirt, mud, nastiness I played in as a kid I realize I need to ease up on my fear of germs.

    I used to love ball pits…and I’m okay (mostly). Sure they’re germy, but they are FUN!

    Melissa - That’s why I watch them like hawks - fortunately, they’ve never put the balls in their mouths.

    Life - They sure thought so!

    Leslie - I suppose it’s better that way but sometimes it would be so nice if they were like that on an ‘at home’ day.

    Secret Agent Mama - And they took such great naps!

    Janet - This place has videogames on the first floor so it’s fun for everyone.

    AFF - Oh, we’re in a couple groups. I like this place because they clean it every night and they have hand sanitizer everywhere.

    Kathryn - Thanks! They get a really good wipe down (love my Wet Ones) before we leave any “play” area so I don’t stress too much. Especially know that Ironflower stopped sucking her thumb.

    Jennifer - I don’t remember going in any as a kid. I was so deprived!

    Those are wonderful haiku. I love that they all follow the same day. Also good on you having kids that behave in public. We, alas, are not there yet.
