Does anyone else ever go to sleep thinking, “Tomorrow is the day I’m going to pull myself together and get the house spotless, do five amazing activities with the children, exercise and finish that reading article I’ve been working on”? And then wake up to find that you’ve overslept and possibly have a stomach virus?
Me neither.

I have the same thoughts! Although it’s usually “I really should pull myself together, get the house spotless, etc.” And I usually think this while sitting on my ass on the couch, blogging.

I have amazing thoughts about how I’m going to get it together. In my mind, I’m amazing.

Mom Bomb – Blogging and my desire for sleep totally ruin all my plans.
Life – So nice to know I’m not alone!
Working Mommy – It must be nice.
Leslie – You are amazing. Did you know that in my mind I do yoga every morning?

EVERY NIGHT. I am so stinkin’ MOTIVATED at bed time, but then morning comes and the blankets are all warm and cozy and the floor is so cold and then during the day the blogs are calling me and my email is dinging…

Hey, Jersey Girl! So great that you found me on Facebook!
I have always had this problem – I will have such big goals and ideas (gym? get up early to have a stress-free morning? pay bills?), which keeps me from falling asleep, which I finally do, which means I wake up tired and unable to do anything but the bare minimum. Alas! At least it doesn’t happen all the time

Usually it’s a migraine, not a stomach virus.
Karly- it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one that can take on the world at bed time.
