We went to the park
we went to the park today
oh it’s been so long
Though it broke my heart
two mean girls hurt my oldest
with words, but still sad
Grandma didn’t care
Ironflower over it
played with Lovebug
I was really mad
gave my teacher-meany glare
feeling better now
I can’t wait for spring
park every single day
okay, not in rain

Ohh - the mean teacher glare. I perfected mine through 11 years teaching high school.
Hope you have a great time this summer at the park!

Oh mean girls…the bane of my existence. My Loki is so sensitive so I’m sure the mean girls will get to her…that is until her little sister hears them and totally WHOOPS THEIR ASS. Not that I condone violence of anything. Heh.

I love the teacher glare. Although I am rather upset that even when given, some kids still seem to think they can act badly. I really wish parents would parent and stop trying to befriend their children.

transplantingme - And they were little, too!
Wright - it’s handy, isn’t it?
LunaNik - Ironflower is just always so confused by rude children, she just doesn’t understand being mean for no reason. It kills me. I’m hoping Lovebug will start stepping up to defend her, but right now he’s oblivious.
AFF - I agree - I can’t stand it when parents just let their kids act like bullies. Don’t they understand that ignoring it at three is going to make it horrible by six?
melbs1969 - It’s raining to day, so that was apparently just a brief break in winter suckiness.
Janet - Oh, I know it gets worse. I’m going to be a wreck.

Watching our kids’ hurt is so difficult. But finding the right way to teach them to still love instead of retaliate is nearly impossible!

Ha ha. This is really funny. And sad. But mostly funny.

I hate mean girls. We had a few at ballet camp last year. When they made my daughter cry, one mother’s response was, “Girls will be girls.” Jerks.
Glad you got to go out to the park, though. It has warmed up here, but it won’t stop raining. I AM READY FOR SPRING!
