After nine years in the trenches of an urban elementary school, I am now a stay-at-home mom to my daughter Ironflower, 12/04, my son Lovebug, 3/06 and baby ChunkyMonkey, 11/08. I am also wife to Hot Guy, the actor/producer/sound engineer I snagged while doing community theater. I would like to be a work-at-home mom but I don’t think I can call my writing “work” when I’d do it for free (and essentially, I do). Calling myself “Jerseygirl” seemed cute when I lived in Kansas City, but after moving back home to Jersey in 2007 it speaks of a hometown pride I have yet to re-develop. Most of the other moms around here make me nervous.

Ha! I used to live off exit 133 off the Parkway. And I graduated H.S. in ‘89.
I miss going down the shore. Now that I live in NH, we drive to the seaside.

I was curious what it would take to get a two-word text link on your blog saying something like “Wedding Rings” or “Tungsten Rings” with a hyperlink to our site (www.superiorweddingrings.com). Hi! I just came across your blog and found it humourous. I like the above which said ‘A clean house is a sign of a wasted life’. I’m a mum of 2 boys and wished I was too a stay-at-home mum. Busy in the office and back home busy with kids. No time to do what I really want. I probably have no time to read this nex time. Sigh!
